Product Description
The tank container relief vent valve RV 30,
RV40 protects the container against vacuum
and overpressure. The design complies with
the regulations for IMO class 1 and 2 tank
containers. The valve operates like a standard
safety valve as described in both AD-2 and
IMDG code with the features defined therein.
The RV 30 is a standard relief valve against
excess pressure. The RV 40 is a standard relief
valve against excess pressure including a
vacuum relief valve to protect the container
against vacuum.
The valves are designed to offer important
advantages:
n The simple, yet robust design of the valve
saves weight.
n The valves operation is self-explanatory.
n Low height due to compact design.
n Bursting discs can be integrated.
n Variable end connections like threads and
flanges.
