The list of provinces belonging to these regions is provided in this chapter. You do not need to memorize them. What is important is to imagine their location so that you will be able to answer correctly the questions at the end. These regions are comprised of provinces, which are subdivided into districts. Each province is administered by an elected governor who oversees various local government entities. Each province is member to the League of Provinces of the Philippines, an organization which aims to address issues affecting provincial and metropolitan government administrations.
