Summary
In this unit that we will cover in 3 weeks, students will be given information of making
sentences about ones physical and characteristics by using possessive structure and
making comparisons.

At the end of the first week, students are given


a short quiz about usage of have/has got in a
context.
At the end of the last week, Students will be
given a final quiz about making comparisons.
Group works will be necessary when reading
comprehension questions are given, and the
questions will be answered in class
environment so the teacher can observe
students development.
At the end of the second week Students will
prepare a poster of a famous person they like.
They will describe his/ her appearance and
personality by using possessive structure that
we covered in classroom environment.

Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan


In the first we week, first of all we will show a table about the content that we will talk
about that week and give students information about have/has got structures and usage
of them in a context by giving them short dialogues. After that, students will be given a
short quiz about usage of have/has got structures in a context.
In the second week, at the beginning of the class students will be introduced to
personality and physical appearances, and then to make the subject permanent
illustrations and posters will be shown in the classroom. After that students will be given
matching exercise, and right answers will be given in the class. Then the students will
talk about their friends and themselves for three minutes.
In the final week, students will be given a reading text, and it is measured whether the
students are sufficient enough to use the target language or not.

Back-up Plan: To prevent any trouble about our materials, we will have printed activities
related to the lesson plan.
