RE: Reply to Engagement of National Chapter President

1. As per my understanding, the ALSA IB provides ALSA

international with a direction towards a growing and
developing organization and as well keeping it united in cause.
Take for example; when an assembly or a GCM is called for by
the behest of the IB, the correspondence between different NC
is a step towards growing together as one organization.
2. I believe that the IB should in fact play the role of an overseer
of development, but of course to be an effective overseer
would mean being a bit more hands on. Like Gordon Ramsey
on an episode of Hells Kitchen, (a celebrity chef) once said
and I quote What the fuck kind of head chef are you are
sending food out without tasting it. Like any head, the IB
must know exactly what is happening to every event and
every activity to of course aid in its advancement.
3. Well I have no complaints in regards to the current IB, but if I
must, id say having each officer extend a more personal
relationship with each NC officer but of course keeping still a
professional decorum. In this manner a more comfortable and
honest relationship is built which I am sure can in fact be more
fruitful.
4. To be honest I am impressed at the degree of maturity and the
logical direction of decision-making and planning that has
been put into action so far by each member of the IB.
5. I would say a more proactive involvement in worldly issues.
6. Well for one being an international organization I think we are
greatly under budget.
7. We are not without sponsors and partners, I believe the IB
needs to set guidelines and protocols to take care of such
sponsors and partners so that such gratuity becomes a stable
allocation in their financial expenditures.
8. Well since we have just made a major change in organization
here in the Philippines wherein part of the change is we
improved upon our membership protocols, we are now only
starting to gain members again.
9. A great internship program can greatly increase popularity
and solve the problem on increased membership.

If I were part of the IB I would focus on improving the
image of ALSA and finding ways to make being a part of such
organization a source of pride, It is a way to also make the
members more passionate about ALSA.
