1. Computer

A computer is a programmable machine which


works and responds to specific instructions.

2. Desktop

A desktop is a filing system to file icons, documents


and etc.

An icon is a little picture that represents a program


or file.

A shortcut is a special type of file in an operating


system that points to another file.

5. Taskbar

A taskbar is a desktop toolbar application that lets


you perform tasks such as opening windows and
starting new applications.

Wallpaper is a design or picture on the desktop set


as a background.

7. Hardware

Any storage or display devices are called hardware.

Anything that can be saved electronically for a long


time.

CPU is short for central processing unit the brain of


the computer.
