O R D E R:
The following notification will be published in the extraordinary issue of Andhra Pradesh
Gazette dated 19-04-1994.
Specific approval of the Principal Secretary to Government, Municipal Administration &
Urban Development Department has been obtained for publication of notification in extra-ordinary
issue of Andhra Pradesh Gazette.
N O T I F I C AT I O N
In exercise of the powers of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 585 of the
Hyderabad Municipality Corporations Act, 1955 (Act 11 of 1955) the Governor of Andhra Pradesh
hereby makes the following Amendments to the Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad (Layout) Rules,
1965 issued in G.O.Ms.No. 1096, Municipal Administration Department dated the 24th August 1965.
A M E N D M E N T S.
In the said Rules, ..
In rule 7, after sub-rule (5) the following sub-rule shall be added , namely :(6) In case the applicant is a co-operative Housing society a true copy of the resolution recorded by
its Managing committee to the effect that all the roads and open spaces such as parks and playground
earmarked as per the layout rules are free from all encumbrances, and duly attested by the president
or secretary of such society shall be enclosed. In case the applicant is an individual person, a
declaration on similar lines signed by him shall be enclosed.
After rule 10, the following rule shall be inserted, namely :10.A. All the roads and open spaces such as parks and playgrounds earmarked in accordance with
these rules in a layout, which is approved by the corporation shall automatically stand transferred to
free of cost; and vest with the Corporation free from all encumbrances. After such vesting the
corporation shall maintain all such

In rule 16, the words and transfer these along with sites earmarked for parks and playgrounds free of
cost to the Corporation through a registered gift deed within one month of their completion for
maintenance shall be committed.
In the layout application specified in Appendix-A, under item 5, the words I/We undertake to hand
over to the corporation the roads after developing them to the prescribed Corporation, the roads after
developing them to the prescribed standards and the open spaces such as parks and playgrounds
earmarked for communal use free of cost shall be omitted.
