Questions: What is the theme of the story The Three Little Pigs? Answer in the form of RAP1

Restate and Answer:

The theme of the well-known childrens story is Taking time to do it right pays off

Introduce:

The Three little pigs each had a job of building a home that would protect them from
the big bad wolf. They each chose a different method of protection. The first two pigs
chose to quickly build from straw and sticks and their homes were blown down by the
wolf and they were eaten.

Cite Textual Evidence: One sentence starting with your evidence sentence starters
According to Grimms Fairy Tale, The wolf huffed and he puffed by his chinny chin
chin and could not blow down the house because it was made from bricks.

Explain:

The third pig took his time to lay heavy bricks to protect him from the wolfs attack
when the other pigs speedy attempt was futile. (PW)

In closing, the theme of The three little pigs clearly shows that taking time to do it right
pays off because the third pig that took his time was the only one that survived the
attack of the big bad wolf.
