User guide on how to open the computech

spreadsheet

Works out the average between numbers that you select

Finds the smallest value

Find the largest value in the range
=sum if

Counts the number of items that meet the criteria in the
range

Looks up a value in table and returns the result from
another column

How to open a spreadsheet


This user guide will show you how to open the excel.
The first thing you need to do is go to the search bar

Then you need to search for the excel documents by typing excel
into the search bar. Then click on the excel tile to open it.

After you have opened the excel you want to save it to the
selected file

After you have opened the blank word document you want to go
to the top of the task bar and click on the file and then you click
on open then you go to computer and search for your file, then
you would go to documents and find your file.

Navigating through the spreadsheet

This is my spreadsheet when it is opened in excel you can use the


macros to move around the spreadsheet

These are the macros that you can use to navigate to the
different pages of the spreadsheet.
You can click on the products macro to bring you to the
products sheets and then you can click on

This button will bring you back to the menu page.

To show formulae Hold ctrl and apostrophe key above the tab key

What each formulas does
1. Selling price= =C2*$J$4+C2
This calculates the price that the product will be sold at,
using the mark up
amount in cell G5
2. VAT =E2*$J$5
This calculates how much VAT has to be added to the selling
price

3. Selling price + vat=E2+F2


This calculates the selling price and the VAT added together
4. Total sales per month =SUM(C3+D3+E3)
This calculates much is sold per month for each item
5. Average sales per month =AVERAGE(C3:E3)
This calculates the average sales per month for each item
6. Total sales =H3*F3
This calculates how much is sold altogether for each of the
item

How to save the spreadsheet


To save your spreadsheet go to the top of the page and click the
purple floppy disk and then select where you want to save your
spreadsheet. You can select what folder you want to save it into.
