30-A Take Out Taxi began this March as a unique way for visitors and
locals to test fresh, local cuisine without leaving their home. The
service will deliver just about anywhere the customer requests for
a $10 delivery charge - poolside, to condos and even to the beach.
This service is a great way to try out local restaurants and beat the
30- to 40-minute seasonal wait times.
30-A Take Out Taxi will deliver food from any restaurant on 30-A
that takes to-go orders by phone. Some restaurant choices include
Maries Bistro, La Cocina, Goatfeathers Seafood Restaurant, 723
Whiskey Bravo, 98 Bar-B-Que, Shades Bar and Grill and many more.
The delivery service runs from 5-10 p.m. daily and will even take deliveries until 11 p.m. on most nights. The owners
say that the service was originally targeted towards seasonal visitors of South Walton, but the locals have really
made the service a hit. Many 30-A restaurants without to-go services have allowed 30-A Take Out Taxi to deliver
their food because they have seen how successful it has been with other restaurants. The convenience of local
restaurant food delivery makes 30-A Take Out Taxi a must-try for this summers visit to the beach.
How it works: Customers call their restaurant of choice on 30-A, then place their order and payment. The customer then calls 30-A Takeout Taxi
with the details of their order, and a driver picks up the food. The driver arrives at the door with fresh, ready-made food and is then paid the $10
service charge.

For a more relaxed adventure, Big Kahunas offers rivers and pools to
float in. Check out the Humunga River rapids on a tube, or the more
relaxed lazy river tubes. The wave pool pumps continuous waves
into the space, allowing guests to experience beachy waves without
the salt or seaweed. There is an entire kiddy section to also
explore with your little ones. There are height requirements
on most of the large slides, so this area allows your child
to play and splash on slides and fountains more their size.
