Brown, Leo World War II Airman remembers captivity. 1945 Germany. 28 October 2015.

on how the airplanes in World War II used and the importance of them. Bomber crews in World
War II- who piloted the planes in the image- faced the threat of the enemies planes attacking
during the missions over Europe. They also faced the fear capture by the German military.

the picture, and it shows how the troops were dressed for battle. It also shows how the troops
were looked and their expressions right before they went out and risked their lives for the
country. It also shows scene around them of the military base before they left.

Harbor on December 7, 1941. Pearl Harbor ended up being one of the major causes the United
States entering World War II. This was used as huge propaganda to get people to recognize that
the US needs to stop ignoring and do something about the war.

planes in the war. In the image the German planes were bigger than the American planes. So it

supposed to make people feel that joining the war means joining to protect your country byi
having an adventure. The U.S. wants this piece of propaganda to influence many young
adventurous people.

This image shows a bomb in Germany. It shows what the bomb looks like the shape, color, and
size. It is a very interesting image that shows what a bomb in World War II looks like. It has a
huge bulky shape with a grayish color to it. Looking almost like a oval. I assume that it took lots
of work to build it, and that they have only slightly improved them from then until now making
adjustments to the size and power. This is one of the types of bombs that ended up killing
millions of people.

This interview is about how Jennifer experienced the war, and what weapons she had seen. Also how
airplanes were an important new thing in World War two. One of the members in our group has

a grandma who lived in Great Britain during World War II. We asked about what the scariest part
of the war was for her, and what she thought played the biggest role in the war. She told us about
her point of view and experience of the war as a little girl.
Zobelein, Jennifer Adams. Tales of challenge and Courage-49 true story about growing up in the great
depression and living through World War 2.CreateSpace, 2012. In this story Jennifer wrote about
how she experienced World War II through her own two eyes in Great Britain. She explains what
role her father had in helping with camouflage, and the other things he did. Also how her aunt
worked on the gas masks made during the time. This shows that every where the war was
affecting people even people who werent directly involved in the fighting. More job openings
had been made for making equipment to help the soldiers fight in battle.

website told us about how the incredible advancement in the war affected aircrafts. Is also
showed some commonly used planes and what their jobs were. Also talks about the invention of
the radar and how it tracked planes for the Allies use

theories for the atomic bomb. It was dropped on two major cities in Japan. Most of the designers
and workers were ironically from Germany, and it was also known as the Manhattan project.

sizes of light, medium and heavy. The bombers usually had machines guns on the plane besides

bombs to attack against fighter plains. Small bombers are helpful for smaller targets and taking
off aircraft carriers. Medium bombers can take out slightly lager aircrafts. Heavy bombers can
travel long distances and take out bigger targets.

known bombs that have ever been invented. It has devastating effects because it is so powerful.

that since everyone did it, it helped the Army and war. Rationing was an important influence on
World War II. Everyone who wasnt fighting in the war was rationing their supplies like rubber,

At the beginning of WWII aircraft carriers could hold up to 70 to 90 aircrafts. It held a huge role
in fighting in the war because it helped with limited amount of fuel the amount of fuel the
aircrafts could take. Without the aircrafts carriers the Allies wouldnt have been able to win the
Pacific Theater war.

This article writes that submarines played a huge role in destroying Japans ships. Unfortunately
many men died working with the submarines. Submarines were pretty new to the war, so they
were considered a very advanced warfare item.

for sneak attacks on enemy ships but they could only be submerging for up to 48 hours and they
move slowly. Also they were usually used underwater during the day so it would be easier to see
than in the night.

reasons they finally surrendered during World War II. Japan had to surrender because

This website talks about the weapons used in World War II by each country. For each type of gun
they go into specifics on what type of the particular gun that the country was using. The site talks
about pistols, rifles, and submachine guns. Also it includes tanks, mines, anti-air craft guns, V2
rocket, artillery, machine guns, flame throwers, and hand grenades. This site talks about the
importance of each weapon and how they relate to the version now a day.
