I was Andrea's academic advisor at St. Bonaventure University. As a sophomore she did well balancing out her responsibilities between being my teacher assistant, working for the schools newspaper and being captain of her volleyball team. I believe that her skills and personality would allow her to be a major asset to any company she chooses to work for once she graduates.

It is my great pleasure to write this letter in support of Andrea Fernandes
accomplishments. I was Andreas academic advisor at St. Bonaventure University. She was unquestionably one of the most able students on my caseload. During Andreas transition into St. Bonaventure University, it was not an easy one since she hit a rough patch in her life. After continuously working with her, she had a major turn around and exceeded her goals by reaching her maximum potential. As a sophomore she did well balancing out her responsibilities between being my Teacher Assistant, working for the schools newspaper, being a part of multiple clubs on campus and being captain of her volleyball team all while turning her studies around. My closest experience working with Andrea was having her as my Teachers Assistant (T.A.) for my University 101: Skills for the Good Journey class. As a T.A. she assisted with editing and grading assignments. My job required me to be off campus and recruit students. Whenever I could not be on campus, I trusted Andrea to create a lesson plan and lead an organized class. Andrea is one of the most motivated students Ive worked with thus far. She not only balances multiple responsibilities during the school year, she also kept this stamina up during her summer breaks. After her freshman year, she made it her duty to land an internship with the American Heart Association which helped develop her skills both as a journalist and as a communicator. She successfully managed having both an internship and a job after just being a freshman. She continued to make her summers productive after her sophomore year by having another internship and two jobs. Andrea is one that I have seen progressively grow. With her ambitious, yet witty personality, I know Andrea will do great things in the future because she is determined. I believe that her skills and personality would allow her to be a major asset to any company she chooses to work for once she graduates.
