Our Audiences
Our target audience is UWSP Students. Our programs are funded by student segregated fees and
therefore our events are focused on the interests of students at UWSP.
Our secondary audience is members of the community. Because we bring a variety of events to
UWSP we want to invite membesr of the community to enjoy our events as well. This would
include students from area High Schools as well as from Mid State Technical College and
general members of the community that would take an interest to an event at UWSP.

Our Identity
Centertainment Productions is a student-run programming service for the University Centers at
the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
Our job is to provide a wide array of entertaining and educational opportunities for UWSP
Students and community members.
Each semester Centertainment Productions plans over 60 events including bands, movies,
lectures, comedians, trips, tournaments, magicians and more.

Purpose
Twitter was originally created to cater to college students who may not have engaged with
facebook. Twitter tends to have more flash news and has a much greater rate of turnover than
facebook does.
Goals
Tweet at least once a week
Link to facebook and Instagram
More consistency in Twitter feed

@uwspCP
Purpose:
The @uwspCP Snapchat was created at the beginning of October of 2014 and was initially
created to do on the spot updates during an event that would liven things up. We thought that
potential snapchat instant offers would be something to play with in the future. We only post
general snap stories.
Goals
Increase followers to 30 by the end of the Spring Semester 2015
Post a snap story for most events
Post on at least one event per week

On Campus Text
Text CP EVENTS to 71441
346 Signed up to receive text updates

Purpose
The purpose of the on campus text source was to reach students directly on their mobile devices
and on the go. People often open text messages more frequently than look at social media.
Goals
One text per week (two if necessary)
Feature one or two important events of the week
Up sign up to 500 users by the end of Spring Semester 2015

Our Plan
Our ultimate goal is to offer events on campus that UWSP Students would enjoy. Engagement
via social media platforms would increase the likelihood of making an attendee aware of our
events and what Centertainment is and does as a department. In order to reach our goals we
must:
Create consistency in social media posts (ie: one post per day)
Plan an effective social media campaign to increase following
Increase communication between programmers to become aware of changes or updates in
programming
Plan ahead as far as posts on social media and Event creation and promotion
All posts will now be placed on a social media master calendar to increase
communication and organization
Increase promotion of #Centertainment
