LYDIAS BEDROOM.

Katie and Lydia study in Lydias bedroom.

Lydia chewing her pen, led down on her bed as she reads her
work book. Katie sits against the wall staring at her work
book on the floor, feeling distressed.
Quiet music in the background.
LYDIA
(Takes the pen out of her
mouth and looks to Katie.)
Did you hear about the girl that
was murdered in the woods?
KATIE
(Looks up at Lydia, wide
eyed.)
N-No, when was this?
LYDIA
Last night apparently. Stabbed to
death, I swear this town gets
creeper by the minuet(Begins to talk quickly with
excitement)
Anyway, I spoke to Julie today and
she said that shes having a party
at the weekend. I dont care what
you say- we are going and we are
going to have a great time.
KATIE
(Zones out, hearing Lydias
voice as a echo as it fades.)
FADES OUT
EXT. KATIES FLASHBACK
FADES IN
Katie is stood in the woods by a stream,
feet.

a dead body by her

Wearing muddy clothes. sweats, jumper and a cap hiding her

face with a knife in her right hand - Blood dripping from
it.
Katie shoves the girl that she killed against a tree. Pulls
her across the ground by her feet. The girl screams trying
to get free.

INT LYDIAS BEDROOM
CUTS BACK TO THE PRESENT
LYDIA
Katie.
KATIE
(Breaths in deeply and looks
to Lydia.)
LYDIA
Did you just hear what I just said?
KATIE
(She shoves her belongings in
her bag quickly)
I have to go, my Dad is expecting
me home soon and its getting late.
(She stands up from the floor)
LYDIA
(Looks at Katie a little
confused.)
Its only 6:30KATIE
(She walks quickly towards the
bedroom door)
Ill see you tomorrow, Lydia.
EXT. STREETS
Katie walks down the empty dark street, keeping her head
down.
Flashbacks of the night before play over.
She walks into dark dingy ally.
CARTER
(Comes behind Katie grabbing
her shoulders with a little,
yelling quietly.)
KATIE
(She jumps, making a small
scream then turns to face
Carter.)

Dame you, Carter. Dont scare me
like that.
(Shoves him backwards.)
CARTER
(He laughs)
Oh come on, Kate. Im just messing
around.
(He grins widely)
KATIE
(Looks at him angrily)
Screw you.
CARTER
(Keeps grinning at her with a
raised eyebrow.)
You should probably head home, a
monstrous killer is on the lose.
KATIE
Noted.
(She turns around walking down
the path.)
CARTER
You going to Julies party at the
weekend?
(He calls to her, watching her
walk down the ally)
KATIE
Bye, Carter.
(She puts up a hand, waving
once.)
CARTER
See you there then.
(He grins then walk the
opposite direction.)
KATIE
Katie is alone again.

INT KATIES HOUSE
Katie walks into her house that is quiet and dark.
She drops her belongings by the front door, takes off her
shoes and coat then wonders into the kitchen turning on the
light finding a note on the counter:
Last minuet meeting at the city. Will be back tomorrow
afternoon. Dad.
(She goes to the cupboard
taking a glass then fills it
up with water, after she goes
upstairs finding a change of
clothes. Katie then takes them
to the bathroom and turns on
the shower-cuts to normal
water then to bloody, then to
normal again- She walks out of
the bathroom turning out the
light and back to her room,
she closes her curtains, gets
into bed then turns out the
light.)
Smash comes from downstairs.
(She jumps out of her sleep
then opens the door slowly to
hear it again but it doesnt
happen, she grabs her phone
that is led on the bed
shinning the light down the
dark corridor. She walks down
the stairs slowly, breathing
rapidly.Checking all the
rooms, everything looks normal
so she shrugs it off then head
back upstairs and into bed
Smash
(Katie sits up quickly,
frowning and gritting her
teeth. She storms out of her
room and down the stairs.)
Carter! If this is some kind of
sick joke...!
(She turns on the light seeing
the place empty as it was
before.)
Carter?
(she sighs)
The light turns off.

DEAD GIRL
Dead Girl stands in front of Katie
looking muddy and bloody, her head
tilted to the side and leaning
forward with wide eyes.
KATIE
Katie leans up against the wall,
scared letting out a scream.
