Cross Country
August 2012- October 2012. One of the only two girls to run cross country, won all conference.
Indoor Track
November 2012- Present. Track member also Captain. Made it to states and medaled.
Became state ranked in all events ran.
Outdoor Track
February 2013- Present. Track member also Captain. Conference runner-up, Regional
Champion & State Champion. New Balance national champion and All-American.

AAU District Qualifier: In charge of checking in the athletes, handling bib numbers and
walking the athletes out on the field.
Leadership
Captain 2008- Present
I am in charge of making sure that my teammates are warmed-up properly, that they are
stretched out. I am the example used by the coaches.

2012 Conference Champion

entire meet or their events becomes the Conference Champion.
2012 Regional Champion
Out of the someck region in North Carolina your school team or an individual win either the
entire meet or specific event to become the regional champion.

2012-2013 State Champion

For all of the 3A schools in North Carolina the team or individual that has performed the best
and won the event or whole meet is declared the State Champion.
Most Outstanding
Handed to the student athlete that has worked the hardest and performed stellar for that specific
season.
Most Valuable Player
Given to the student athlete the coach feels has the leadership skills necessary for the team,
who has motivated others around them and is an outstanding athlete.
New Balance National Champion
The Individual or relay team that has won that specific event at New Balance Nationals, they are
the New Balance National Champion.
All American
Based on the track meet that you attend an All American athlete is a person or relay team that is
either in the top 8 or 16 and have received medals to reflect their excellence.
2015 Carter G. Woodson Legacy Award Receiver
The Carter G. Woodson Legacy Award is an award handed to Juniors that are nominated by a
counselor or teacher for their outstanding academic achievement, leadership, and community
service.
