DENUCLEARIZATION OF NORTH KOREAN NUCLEAR WEAPONS
The Security Council and General Assembly,
Recognizing that the United Nations has placed previous unsuccessful sanction on North Korea
in the attempt to terminate their Nuclear Weapons Program,
Emphasizing that the past 8 sanctions ( 0825,1540,1695,1718,1718,1874,1985,2087) and most
specifically the last (2) attempted resolutions ( 1718, 1874) have failed to prevent North Korea
from continuing to possess dangerous nuclear weapons ,
Noting with regret that the past and present reactions of DPRK nuclear weapons program has
only motivated the production of more nuclear weapons,
Keeping in mind that Following North Korea's nuclear test in October 2006, Security Council
members imposed sanctions on Pyongyang( Britto 1) in the attempt to terminate their nuclear
program after multiple failed attempts,
Noing with regret that the security council members are capable of developing nuclear weapons
only motivate North Korea t also produce weapons such as these,
Noting with great concern that a nuclear weapon of any sort has the power to obliterate cities and
countries affecting 100 s of thousands,
Emphasizing that the proliferation of nuclear and chemical weapons as well as their means of
delivery continue to pose a huge threat to international peace and security throughout the world,
Welcomes future aid and support for a new resolution and calls upon allies with international
interest with the The Democratic People's Republic of Korea to take this following proposal into
consideration,
1. Encourages that the General Assembly and the Security Council to be open minded to the
denuclearization of both North Korean Nuclear weapons and Nuclear weapons of
countries possessing weapons such as the security councils members,
2. Acknowledges that sanctions against North korea should be made to maintain peace;
a.) With peace treaties signed across the nations;
b.)With economic sanctions to prevent the purchase of substances that have relevance to nuclear
power and weapons;
c.) With all respect to North Koreas sovereignty, calls upon nations to monitor shipment to
inspect and insure no secret purchasing of specific items that could be used to develop nuclear
weaponry

3. Emphasizes that denuclearization would eliminate the threat of Nuclear war or any other
means of delivery from Nuclear weapons,
3. Confirms that The latest Chinese estimate of North Korea shows that they could possess
about only 20 warheads, the smallest amount in the world, therefore making
denuclearization very straightforward.
3. Encourages the proposal of a Nuclear Weapons-free world, preventing the risk of
Nuclear war
3. Emphasizes that the UN aim is to maintain peace throughout the world, and recommends
that to achieve this worldwide peace, the weapons causing mass destruction ( such as
Nuclear weapons) shall be destroyed.
3. Requests that the allies of North Korea will be in the highest position to insure complete
control over the situation at hand;
a.) With accepting that countries opposing this will not sign this treaty and will not be able to
gain approval of North Korean allies to monitor shipments or any situation related the North
Koreas Nuclear weapons program ;
b.)With the aim of maintaining peace throughout the entire resolution process;
8.) Confirms that if The Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea refuses to sign any peace
treaty to any country involvement, This resolution will not pass and will be under past
resolutions passed by the Security Council ( Resolutions 1718,1874,2050) as an act of their
defiance.
