Google Classroom
Recently, we have introduced Google Classroom! It gives us
the capability to give and turn in assignments online. Students
have had worktime in class on their two current assignments,
both due Mon. PM. Students can access Google Classroom
anywhere with the internet by logging on to their Kings Way
account. Here is a link to our class page.

1. First of Year Reflection-Due Mon. PM.
2. Creature Writing-Due Mon. PM.
This project involves creating a creature and describing it. In
later steps, you will be involved. But until then, their project is a
secret
Students will have 15-25 minutes of work time on Monday
for both of these assignments.
Report Cards
Report Cards for 2nd Quarter were sent home today. One of
the Google Classroom assignments is a reflection on their
performance this year. In general, reading grades were lower this
quarter. This partially has to do with the independent steps
required in turning in their reading work. It does not mean that
they are reading below grade level. The grade is reflective of their
reading practice works quality as well as turning in on time.
