The Pikes Peak Interagency Transition Team
(PPITT)
is beginning work on our 2016 resource
directory and annual resource fair. The PPITT is
comprised of community agency, business,
2

provider, and school district representatives.

PPITTs goal is to provide individuals with
disabilities and their families with opportunities to
connect with community services, meeting their
individual interests and needs. PPITTs resource
directory provides service and contact information.
PPITTs annual resource fair offers both participants
and attendees an excellent opportunity to network
with community providers.
PPITT provides this information for one or more of
the following reasons:
Your agency, business, or service was included
in PPITTs 2015 directory.
Your agency, business, or service participated
in PPITTs annual resource fair last year and/or
in past years.
Your agency, business, or service has
expressed an interest or has been
recommended for inclusion in PPITTs directory
and participation in PPITTs fair.
PPITTs fair is held annually in April. This year the
date is April 21st, 2016. At last years PPITT fair, 90
agencies, businesses and providers participated.
Almost 300 people attended, and PPITT received
very positive satisfaction feedback. PPITTs current
directory includes over 100 agencies, businesses
3

and/or providers of services for individuals with

disabilities. The directory is widely distributed by
fair participants throughout the year. Please view
the PPITT 2015 Resource Directory on
www.ppitt.org
PPITTs fair has become very large, PPITTs
directory has become lengthy, and planning has
become complicated. In an effort to use both your
time and PPITTs time efficiently and effectively,
PPITT has made two changes in the planning
process:
All resource fair and resource directory
planning correspondence will be
completed electronically at
www.ppitt.org.
The fee to be included in PPITTs resource
directory is $40. This fee also reserves a
table for your agency or business if you
choose to participate in the annual fair
scheduled for April 21, 2016 from 4-8 p.m
(for vendors). The fair will be at the El
Paso County Citizens Service Center
located at 1675 Garden of the Gods Road,
Colorado Springs, CO 80907. The backup
date will be April 28, 2016 if Colorado

Springs District 11 has a snow day on

April 21, 2016.
PLEASE go to PPITT.org as soon as
possible in order to register and pay for
your participation at the fair. The fair will
be limited to the first 90 paid vendors.
Payment and directory update deadline is
March 15, 2016. For payment inquiries,
please contact Hannah Widmer at
hannah@thearcppr.org
PPITT sincerely appreciates your participation in
PPITTs resource directory and resource fair. If you
have any questions or concerns regarding the fair
or the directory, please contact Sonya Teigen at
steigen@ppboces.org
