Cycle Day:_6______

Peyton has an associate (Miss Sarah.) She will monitor when he leaves the room. He
will only be here for science and to gather his materials at the end of the day.
Kayden needs a lot of reminders to stay on task. Please remind him of what his job
is as needed.
Chayton may need many reminders today. This is his first week without the help
of an associate or going to special ed. He may need reminders to stay on task and
to be respectful to you and his peers. If he is overly disrespectful to you, call
the office and Mr. Hewitt can come assist with him. He will need help at the end
of the day remembering what he needs to do.
Clip Chart- I have left BEST tickets that you may hand out if students are doing a
great job. Once the students get two BEST tickets, they can move their clip up on
the chart. These can be very helpful when the class gets extra chatty.

11:30-12:15 Library (The students will need to be picked up and taken directly to
lunch.)
12:20-12:45 Lunch (We eat in Mrs. Toots room if you would like to join.)
12:45 Pick the students up from lunch. Sydney, Deja and Tristan will need to bring the
library books back to the classroom.
12:50-1:20 Recess (You will have OUTSIDE duty.)

When you return inside-Lay the library books on the table and counter
and have the students grab their books before beginning science.

1:30-2:00 Science
Hand out the quizzes to the students. The quiz they will be taking today is
on the back (5.2). Read the quiz to the class giving any prompts marked on
the key. Please collect when they are finished. Peyton will take this out in
the hall with Miss Sarah.
At this time the students may read silently or go out into the pod to work
on typing their writing. If they get to the printing stage, Rylie may be able
to help them or you can have them wait until Monday.

2:00-2:40 Math (Peyton, Caden, and Chesney will go to Mrs. Sirdoeus)


Today, the students will play Multiplication Squares. The students can pick
their own partners. All but a few have played this game before. Remind the
students that do not know how to play to partner with someone that knows
how to play. I have included the directions if needed. Each partnership will
need a recording sheet, double die, and two different color writing utensils.
o Please make sure that Kayden and Chayton are NOT partners.
o Have the students clean up their materials about 2:35.
2:40-3:00
Character Celebration
The students will take part in extra recess for their character celebration.
These students will need to miss out on HALF of the party: Peyton, Jesse,
Colin, Carter, Kayden. These students will go to another 4th grade room for
half of the party. I have already talked with them but please remind them.
The reset of the students will go outside for the whole time.
3:00-3:15 Planners/Study Hall/Closing
Students need to fill out their planners using the board by the door. Please
check Chaytons planner.
When their planners are filled out they should use this as study hall time.
Remind the class that if they have a job they should complete it now.
If you want to read aloud from our book, we are reading Because of Mr.
Terupt. This should be on my desk.
At about 3:15 the students will need to get their bags.
3:20 students may be dismissed to the pod. Please remind them to wait
silently.
You will have BUS DUTY.
