Ohio State Reformatory

The cornerstone laid on November 4, 1886 evolved into this magnificent Chateauesque structure. Cleveland
architect Levi T. Scofield designed the Ohio State Reformatory using a combination of three architectural styles;
Victorian Gothic, Richardsonian Romanesque and Queen Anne. This was done to encourage inmates back to a
"rebirth" of their spiritual lives. The architecture itself inspired them to turn away from their sinful lifestyle, and
toward repentance The Reformatory doors were opened to its first 150 young offenders in September 1896.
After housing over 155,000 men in its lifetime, the doors to the prison closed December 31, 1990.
Today the Ohio State Reformatory Historic Site receives visitors from all over the world. Every year tourists,
movie buffs, thrill seekers and paranormal investigators walk through the halls of this majestic structure.

I havent found a hotel yet for Saturday night but it will be in the Wheeling, Ohio area

Falling Water
Fallingwater is the name of a house built over a waterfall in southwest Pennsylvania. Frank Lloyd Wright,
Americas most famous architect, designed the house for his clients, the Kaufmann family. Fallingwater was
built between 1936 and 1939. It instantly became famous, and today it is a National Historic Landmark.
Why is it so famous? It's a house that doesnt even appear to stand on solid ground, but instead stretches out
over a 30 waterfall. It captured everyones imagination when it was on the cover of Time magazine in
1938.Kaufmanns on Bridge

Flight 93 9-11 Memorial

September 11, 2001 began as an ordinary, late summer day. With fair weather and blue skies over much of the
country, thousands of commercial airliners prepared for flight. But in less than two hours time, this ordinary
day was transformed as 19 terrorists boarded four airplanes, hijacked them, and used them to attack America.
Nearly 3,000 people were killed when the hijacked planes were flown into the World Trade Center in New York
City, the Pentagon near Washington, DC and when United Airlines Flight 93 crashed in the Pennsylvania
countryside. Flight 93 National Memorial is a place to learn about the 40 passengers and crew of Flight 93 whose
actions thwarted the hijackers plan to fly this plane to a target in Washington, DC, most likely the US Capitol. It
is a place to walk beside their final resting place and honor the extraordinary courage of those who fought back
against the terrorists. Visitors from around the world and across the nation honor the passengers and crew of
Flight 93 for their courageous actions on September 11, 2001.

Gettysburg
Welcome to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, where the turning point of the Civil War occurred from July 1 3, 1863.
Travel to the Gettysburg National Military Park, with over 1,000 monuments and cannons along over 40 miles
of scenic roads, a battlefield shrine to the Union and Confederate soldiers who fought here.

Top, and the Devils Den. You can even meet Abraham Lincoln! In Gettysburg, you can eat authentic Civil War
era foods, sleep in a restored historic inn, and discover over 25 museums and resort attractions some unlike
