If students pass a pre-test, they do not

have to watch the lesson or complete the
post-test.
When students are taking pre-tests or
post-tests, or watching lessons, they
should be in the Independent Learning
area of the classroom.
2: Practice 1: When students have
completed the lessons and quizzes, they
will move to the Practice Area set up with
Geoboards and MIRA activities. They will
follow the directions for the section they
are on to complete the activity.
In this area, students are allowed to
collaborate with others working at the
table.
3: Practice 2: Students will move to the
Practice Worksheet table. They will use a
dry erase marker to complete the practice
sheets. They may be checked by another
student at the table.

Additional Information:
Throughout the course of the unit,
at least 2 mini-lessons will be
offered a day, in which the teacher
can work with a small group of
students.
Students must have at least 2 one
on one check-ins with the
teacher during the course of the
checklist. This allows an
opportunity to monitor each
students progress and answer
any questions the students have
about the content or procedure.
On Fridays, we take a break from
the checklist work, and do either
spiral review stations, or a wholeclass review game.
