Taught units for science (plants), math (3-digit

addition), and literacy (paragraphs). Led engaging
lessons to foster a sense of inquiry in science with
projects like tracking the growth of a bean plant.
Incorporated cross-curricular connections between
science and literacy in a lesson where we carved a
pumpkin and wrote paragraphs about the necessary
steps involved. Used scaffolding in my instruction
including writing weekly quizzes for math and
designing a unit test for science. Created a rubric
and culminating task for paragraphs that included a
self-assessment and editing component. Worked on
classroom management skills and relationship
