DEAR PILOT TEACHER

Thank you for piloting Pearsons brand new English Language Arts program, myPerspectives.
This product is still in development with digital components on a rolling release. Resources
will be available starting in January and will be complete in time for back-to-school 2016.
This document provides dates and details for each component to help you plan lessons and
identify resources accordingly.

PILOT ACCOUNT & COURSE AVAILABILITY

To begin using the myPerspectives digital course, refer to the Pilot Digital Registration Letter
for step-by-step directions on how to create your account on www.pearsonrealize.com. This
letter should be given to you during training or by your Account General Manager.
During the product rollout time period, updates regarding content releases will be published
on www.eladashboard.com/myperspectives. To ensure you have the most current and
accurate information, please check this site often during your pilot. In addition to updates,
this site is where you will find resources for units that are not yet available. For example,
Unit 1 is now available in Realize, but Units 2-5 are not. If you are piloting, Units 2-5, the
lesson resources that are available will be posted on www.eladashboard.com/myperspectives.
IMPORTANT: The courses currently available are National Grades 6-8 and California Grades 912. The National Grades 9-12 courses will be available in late Spring 2016. If you are in a
state other than California and are piloting Grades 9-12, please select the California course.
The only difference between what will be in the final National Grades 9-12 courses and the

existing California courses is the standards coding, all content is exactly the same.

DIGITAL STUDENT & TEACHERS EDITIONS

myPerspectives will utilize Pearsons brand new Interactive eText that will be fully functional
for back-to-school. For implementation purposes, Student and Teachers Editions will be
available via digital flip book within the Realize course. These flip books will serve as the
digital Student and Teachers Edition during your pilot. Beginning in March, Interactive
eTextunits with limited functionality will be available.

myPerspectives+
myPerspectives+ is a resource hub within the myPerspectives digital course that offers
teachers hundreds of agnostic resources to supplement lessons. Resources are also
available for students including interactive lessons, grammar tutorials, digital novels, and
more.

myPerspectives+ is the same content across all grade levels, and currently the grade 9
includes the best representation of content.

KNOWN ISSUES & FUTURE RELEASES

The myPerspectives digital courses are in their first release. Subsequent releases will be

available in February and March to upload additional resources and correct known issues
such as:
