Travel Grant Application for NTI 2016

About
The Greater Washington Area Chapter of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (GWACAACN) is dedicated to providing its members educational opportunities. The chapter leadership is
delighted to announce the GWAC-AACN is offering two Travel Grant Awards for the 2015 AACN
National Teaching Institute in New Orleans, Louisiana in the amount of $500 each.

Eligibility Criteria:
Must have an active RN license
Must be a AACN and GWAC member for at least two years
Must be registered for NTI 2016
Must submit an article for GWAC newsletter relating your NTI experience within 90 days of return

Application Process
Email completed application, with proof of NTI registration, to secretary@gwac.-aacn.org by March 15,
2016 at 2359. Applications submitted after March 15, 2016 will not be eligible.
A panel comprised of several chapter leaders will select two recipients based on a blinded review process
of the application and essay.
Recipients will be notified of selection by April 15, 2016.
The recipient will receive half of the travel grant before NTI and half after receipt of GWAC newsletter
article and copy of CEUs.

As an applicant for the GWAC-AACN NTI Travel Grant, if I am selected as a recipient, I will
submit an article on my NTI experience for the GWAC Newsletter within 90 days of my return.
