Counter Affidavit

I, Reynaldo T. Corpuz, male, 25 years old, born on November 1, 1990 at

Baguio city, single and presently residing at #10 City Camp Proper, Baguio
City, do hereby depose and state that:
Last January 16, 2016, on or about 9:10 in the evening, in Baguio General
Hospital, I was approached by two men wearing police uniform and accused
me of being involved of the commission of crime of robbery with homicide to
a certain Wico Cabanayan;
That I told them that I dont know what they are talking about but they
immediately and forcefully restrain me in their custody and told me that I am
under arrest;
That I asked them to show the warrant of arrest of what ever case that they
are accusing me but they ignored me and instead I was unwillingly taken by
them.
That on or about 9:30 in the evening, I , with the two men wearing police
uniform, arrived at a place that I dont know but I am very sure that it is not a
police station, wherein I saw a man and a woman in civilian clothing;
That during that time, I heard the four of them talking about a written
confession that I should write, then the woman handed me a piece of paper;
That the two men in police uniform ordered me to write a written confession
of a robbery with homicide on the piece of paper the woman handed me but I
refused and told them that I did not commit such crime and I dont know
what they are talking about;
That the man in civilian uniform told me that if I value my life then I should
follow what they say;
That at that point I am already scared to death, I cannot see any people
around aside from five of us, and I believed that they might kill me if I dont
follow their order;
That with great fear in my mind, I complied to write on the piece of paper
while they dictated what should I write;
That unwillingly but to save my life, I wrote what they dictated, that I have
stolen 200,000 cash from Wico Cabanayan and killed him by stabbing with a
kitchen knife, then they ordered me to sign it;

That after I was finished to write, the two men in police uniform brought me
to police station 5 where I was detained;
That in the police station I saw the two men in police uniform who brought
me there talking to other people in police uniform;
That I am still too scared that I did not speak nor protest until the arrival of
my own and preferred counsel.
