ABSTRACT
In this project discusses many aspects of the rainforest such as the geographic location,
climate and weather, flora & fauna, natural resources, major landforms, places of interests, how
Palestine fits in the rainforest. The climate of the rainforest is humid because so many rain falls in
the winter. 1
The rainforest is located in the in Central and South America, Southeast Asia, Africa and
Australia. It is found in most equatorial areas. 2
There are so many different kinds of animals and plants. The colored ones, the ones that
are poisonous, and the calm ones. Theres a lot of natural resources like woods, oils, fruits, etc.
there are three types of landforms, mountains, valleys, and plains. People go to the rainforest to
see the different things over there. Also, the rainforest does not relate to Palestine with anything.
INTRODUCTION
If anyone ever went to the rainforest and died, then they must have made fun of the animals
there, and death is their punishment. Many strange things happen in the rainforest. Some say thats
some rainforest are for ghosts and demons. There are some facts about the rainforest, a few people
believe them. This fact is that if one doesnt show respect to the rainforest they will die. The flora
and fauna will attack and kill them.

A model was created to represent the biome.

DISCUSSION
Geographical Location

The Tropical Rain forest biome is located in Central and South America, Southeast Asia,
Africa and Australia. It is found in most equatorial areas. The Amazon Rainforest I the largest
rainforest in the world. It also has the worlds longest river. But central Africa has the 2nd largest
rainforest. It has high clouds forests. 2
Climate and Weather

The average climate in the rainforest is humid and hot, because it rains so much in the
year. The rainforest has so much rain because it is wet and hot. It is also near the equator. 1
The nights of the rainforest are usually cool and chill. There are so many thunderstorms,
they are common over there. There is no season in the rainforest, the weather is basically the
same every-single-day. The climate helps everything survive in the rainforest, because heat and
water helps the plants to grow and then the animals will eat the plants a food resource. 3
Tropical Rainforest Landforms

Mountains, valleys and food plains are the three types of landforms in a rainforest. They
also can have streams or rivers running through them. A mountain is a natural elevation of the
earths surface but its height is greater than a hill. Mountains can be found in the rainforest of
South America, Asia, Australia, Africa and the Pacific Islands. About 22 percent of mountains are
found in South America. A valley is a low land between hills and mountains, some of them have
rivers that walk through them. Valleys can be the shape of V or U, the bottom of it is generally flat
and a valley could become a flood plain. Food plains are large flat areas and they are the areas near
rivers and can easily flood. They are formed by winding streams or intertwined rivers and they
support the growth of microbes. Those are the three types of landforms.4
There are many landforms in many different places. The highest tropical rainforest
mountain is Pi Cada Neblina located in the amazon rainforest. In the highlands the weather is
different from the rest of the rainforest, the weather keeps different animals and plants species
from living under the hot weather. The valleys as mentioned before they are shaped in a V or U.
The tropical rainforest Karst is scattered with sink holes and hills, its shaped by the dissolving
action of water. The wetlands are an area covered in a either fresh or salty water. The streams are
much smaller than rivers but both of them provide a water source for the rainforest species living
in that area. The famous Amazon River from the amazon rainforest is 3977 miles long and its in
South America and flows mostly in Brazil and Peru. Channels are just a body of water that is the

deeper part of a water way. The last one is the beaches, the waves of the ocean rush in and out, the
rainforest and its creatures is already a sight worth seeing and the addition of the beach makes it a
special place.5

There are so many rainforest in the world, there's a lot of animals there, they have their
own shelter, and they have their own plants that its the only way that animals are alive there,
rainforests are the largest biomes in the world.7
The rainforests are the most useful biomes in the world. It is full of some of the most
interesting plants and animals, there's large animals that can eat small animals, and there's cute
animals that they are getting scary, like cats they can't protect themselves from dangerous animals.

Flora
Plants are the main thing in rainforest, they can give a beautiful view, and also it can feeds
animals. Rainforest is full of plants. Different kinds, every plant can takes something good from
it, or something bad, some plants are alive like animals, if a fly came to the plant, the plant can eat
it, without plants animals will die and no one will visit or hunt animals.9
Fauna
The rainforest is home to more than half of the world's animals. Colorful and animals dwell
in all four layers of the forest. All types of creatures are represented, from tiny insects to large
mammals.
There's a lot of animals in rainforest, like frogs, gorilla and bird wing, frogs are from
amphibians animals, gorilla is a huge animal, some people are saying that he is the king of all
monkeys, but maybe not, bird wing is a type of butterfly, they have their own food that they should
find.
Places of Interest
Motaz Jadallah
One of Brazils best-preserved colonial towns is Ouro Preto. It has a lot of places that are
rainforest. Brazil has the best places and one of them is Ouro Preto. The second place is called
Fernando de Noronha, and it's also located in Brazil. The space of the rainforest in Fernando de
Noronha has 354km of rainforest. The last two places in Brazil that have rainforest are the Panatal
and The Amazon River, and they are the world largest places in the world. 10

There are other places in the world that have rainforest in it one of it is Iguacu Falls, it's
located in Argentina. It has a waterfall that its 82 meters height and it have around it is rainforest.
Central Africa has the second largest rainforest in the world. The island Madagascar in the south
east of Africa has a big rainforest in it.
Palestine-Rainforest

Palestine is one of the countries that dont have rainforest in it. This is because it's away
from the Equator. Palestine has no forests not rainforest or an original forest. The weather in
Palestine is moderate in the winter and in the summer. Even if Palestine doesn't have rainforest it
still gets a lot of rain. At the last if you all were focusing with me you should noticed that South
America has the most rainforest places. I have a last question its why do you think it's in South
America?
Social Justice

Some of the problems that the rainforest face are that people cut the trees so much that even
the trees are becoming so little. Areas in rainforest are being cut down, and rainforest is being
destroyed, they took a lot of areas, about 20% of the rainforest. So now there is less oxygen and
maybe some animals may die. For solving these problems, people should use other things for paper
like hemp, Kennan, bamboo, and cotton. Also people can stop polluting the rainforest and they
can save it from being destroyed.11
