IMPORTANT NOTE:

(Edsel Gumbs) to conduct background check as a
safety investigation on candidate ministers of the new
Curacao

press conference in Curacao during his visit. In the
interview Donner was asked if he knew that three of
the members including Schotte had not passed.
Donner would not comment on any individual results.

done by Edsel Gumbs was not illegal. She

before the ocial swearing in of the new Prime
Minister. She claimed that Schotte delayed providing
the names of his list of candidates for Ministry

Schotte announces again that he has no confidence in
Edsel Gumbs as Head of VDC as he should be able to
blindly trust this position but it can not be trusted as
Gumbs did not stop his investigation when the
government was reformed. And that Schotte did not
give any command to conduct of continue a safety
investigation and therefor Gumbs can not continue to
be at this post

Schotte announced that an investigation into the
functions of the Security Service of Curacao. This put
doubts on the validity of the reports from the VDC. The
Governor gives orders to Edsel Gumbs to continue the
investigation after the new government was put into
place. The question is about the legality of how the
process was handled.

Interim Head of VDC for three months without prior

PAR does not formally recognize Dindial as Head of
VDC because she was not screened. Also Dindial
would screen herself as this point. This issue raised
national security concerns. Ultimately Dindial was
passed the screening process but again PAR argues
against it due to a perception that Schotte and Dindial
are seen together and Dindial seems to support
Schotte. Also there were rumors of mishandling of
important data and the loss of data. Dindials was
looked at as not being neutral or objective
