These are excellent and very crunchy with a nice sweet flavor that i hope you enjoy! I make these at least 3 times a year and all my family and friends love them! All credit i give to my dear mother Genevieve in heaven now with the Lord! This is the recipe that is very easy to make and bake! 3-1/2-cups of all purpose flour.. 1-1/2 tablespoon of baking powder.. 1/2 teaspoon of salt... 3/4 cup Honey... 4 ounces water.. 4 ounces vegetable oil.. Mix all dry ingredients...Put in wet ingredients and stir together in bowl with a large spoon..Once together knead dough just until smooth..Dough will be moist from the oil and the honey..Do not add any more flour..You want the dough this way.. Split dough into two pieces and roll one piece at a time into a log that is about one inch in diameter and 18 inches long.. Cut logs into one inch pieces.. You should get about 36 taralli from this dough...Roll each piece about 6 inches long and form into circles.. Pinch ends together..Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes...They should be done.. Cool on wire rack and coat tops with a glaze made from confectioners sugar and water...Put some candy sprinkels on top of each...Enjoy and God Bless everyone!! Anthony Spinelli.
