III. Script
So I find movies, my favorite genre, I have to say, I mean setting a film in the future allows for so many
creative ideas to encompass such a broad array of emotions and develops relationships with characters
that you couldnt do with a real normal movie. Now one of my favorites has to be Blade Runner. Its very
dark, very melancholy, very like urban dark environment with Deckard, the policemen, who goes searching
for replicants which are androids from another planet whom he has to go hunt down and it really questions
the philosophy of what it is to be human, fantastic film. We also have 2001 a Space Odyssey which again
like Stanley Kubrick uses his ideas in like this mind bending trip into the unknown and really really again
questions what it is to be human, what happens after death and things like this, brilliant film. But of course,
my favourite, has to be, just has to be the Star Wars trilogy you dont get more epic than Star Wars.
Obviously Im talking about Star Wars 4-6, the original trilogy I mean directed and produced by George
Lucas and music composed by John Williams. You have Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader the epic battle
between good and evil, Ive never seen such a heart wrenching creative galaxy spanning awe inspiring
selection of films. Its just a shame that it was ruined by the newer films that came out which lacked the
emotional depth, character development and all the elements that the originals were seeped in. True
shame, but nevertheless, Star Wars is the best.
