PASTA FAGIOLI.ANTHONY SPINELLI.

Pasta Fagioli [aka Pasta fazoola] is a


simple italian soup that is easy to make!
It is nice to have on a cold damp day!Just
remember to shake some grated parmesan cheese
on top!This is our version of pasta fagioli!
You will need the following ingredients..
1-pound box of Dittali Pasta..
1-28 ounce can of Hunts tomatoe sauce..
1-28 ounce can of water..
2-medium or 1 large onion diced and sliced..
5-tablespoons of olive oil..
4-cloves of diced garlic..
1-19 ounce can of Canolini Beans..
Pepper and salt to your taste..
1/2 teaspoon of thyme..
1-teaspoon of parsley flakes..
1/2 teaspoon oregano..
1/2 teaspoon dry basil..
Grated Parmesan Cheese when serving..
That is it on the ingredients..
In your cooking pot add 5 tablespoon
olive oil..add your sliced onions and your diced
garlic..Saute until tender..Add your 28 ounce
can of tomatoe sauce and your 28 ounce can of
water plus your 19 ounce can of beans..Stir
this mixture then add your thyme,parsley,
basil,oregano..Stir the mixture and let simmer
on low heat for about 15 minutes..In another
pan boil your water and cook your Dittali Pasta..
After your pasta is cooked add it to the sauce..
That is it!You are finished making your super
delicious pasta fagioli soup!Enjoy this with
grated parmesan cheese on top plus large glass
