2. If the answer "Acting confident can lead to real confidence" hasn't been given, inform the
students then explain that "Our brain can be tricked by our bodies, if we smile, we can
become happy, if we act grumpy, we can actually become grumpy, in the same way if we act
confident it is possible to become confident", furthermore "If we are perceived as confident

7. Propose to the students a exercise in which they get into small groups of three in order
to concentrate on a few of those concepts, particularly, projecting confidence, posture, eye
contact and body language
8. Disrupt the students from their normal partner, in order to put them in a position where
they may not feel as normally easy as they might explain "I am mixing up your groups so
that you will be less familiar with the people you are speaking with, as that is what it will be
like when you are giving a speech or performing"
9. The students task will be to give an introduction on themselves, outlining their favorite
hobbies or food, the key element that will be looking for is their ability to maintain a
confident posture, eye contact, body language and their confidence. Even if they feel
uncomfortable they have to 'fake it'

More reflections in my eporfolio
The lesson went well, I had a good time despite my apprehension, the class was very attentive which was very
pleasing, I did finish about 10 minutes early; the teacher was able to take over, this timing requires practice,
however for my first attempt to teach a lesson I felt it went reasonably well.
