Prashanthai deposited Rs. 200000 at 12 % rate of compound interest for 1 year with a bank. If the interest is
compounded half yearly, find what total sum would he receive at the end of the year?
Dharmin borrowed Rs. 800000 from a financier at 12 % rate of compound interest for 2 years. Urvish
borrowed the same sum from a friend for the same period and the same rate of interest at simple interest. At
the end of the period who pays more interest? How much more?
