NORTHERN EUROPEAN FLIGHT DISRUPTIONS DUE TO

VOLCANCIC ERUPTION SITUATION IN ICELAND

Eligibility:

LH Passengers holding tickets issued on / before Friday 16 of April 2010, for flights departing New
Zealand between 15 April 2010 and 20 April 2010 (midnight NZ time).

LH Goodwill Policy:
Rebooking for passengers who are en route:

To give priority to our passengers en route who would like to rebook, but continue travel to Europe, or
return from Europe.
Change of booking class is permitted free of charge within same compartment on LH operated flights

departing until Sunday May 3 (midnight NZ time).

Please note:
• All tickets require endorsement: “GOODWILL Volcano”
• Partner airline booking class must be matched to the applicable LH booking class.

Rebooking for passengers yet to depart New Zealand:

Rebooking is permitted free of charge for departures prior to 31 May 2010, within the ticket validity.
The change of booking class is not permitted.

Please note:
• All tickets require endorsement: “GOODWILL Volcano”
• Upgrade to higher booking classes are at passengers own expense.
• Partner airline booking class must be matched to the applicable LH booking class.

Refund:
For passengers holding Lufthansa Tickets (220 paper):
On passengers request tickets may be fully or partially refunded, possible cancellation penalties and /
or cancellation service charge (s) will be waived.

For passengers holding other carriers ticket documents with LH carriage on the ticket:
Please contact the ticket issuing carrier.
