Class Expectations:

-Participation
Students are expected to fully participate in class discussions and activities. That waywe can keep the class fun,
interesting, and moving forward.

-Hard Work
Students are expected to put in the effort required to learn about the economic phenomena that underlies
their daily lives. All assignments should be turned in, and turned in on time.

-Respect
Most importantly, students are expected to show respect to myself, fellow classmates, and the school.

The Website and other Digital Tools:

Through the class website students will be able to view assignment requirements and due dates, class
updates, as well as have access to resources for these assignments. The website also offers links, articles,
statistics, and other information to let students explore any economic interests that extend past what is covered
on class. I will also use Socrative.com for in-class quizzes. Students will be able to complete these quizzes on
their smartphones.

If technological access is an issue,

please contact me and an alternative
can be worked out for your student.

How to Be Involved:
At the end of the semester we hold our Economic Summit, a fun and exciting event where students can
put what theyve learned to the test (as well as dress up and bring food). We will need a few volunteers to help
tally and run the exchange counter, and your help would be greatly appreciated!
