( 1 ) Personification : Rough winds are given a human characteristic, they cant make anything
stronger.
( 2 ) Simile : flow as fast as blood through your vein comparing how fast winds go to how fast
the blood flows through you veins
( 3 ) Rhyme Scheme : The rhyme scheme is important in this sonnet because it makes everything
come together. It creates a type of flow and it helps everything rhyme.
( 4 ) Repetition : down, down and down, this creates more emphasis to the word down to
create a bigger meaning by repeating it many times, to show that it always happens, ( that winds
do blow things down, down and down again )
( 5 ) : Repetition : Thinking and Thinking , I repeated this word thinking to show that ( thats all
you think about

( 6 ) hyperbole : But thinking as it will last forever , This creates an over exaggeration to lasting
forever. Nothing can let forever especially rough winds.
