In this article, the author Lindsay Jones focuses the subject to the NFL strengthening their
policies towards domestic violence. The teams gather to discuss domestic violence, sexual
assault, and child abuse. In this USA Today article, Jones doesnt talk much from an
opinionative standpoint but rather what the people interviewed had to say about the subject. The
NFLs decision was supposed to call out the subject of domestic violence after recent issues
during the offseason.
This newspaper article shows the organizations and big businesses were helping to
standup against domestic violence. The article was perfect for that reason. But the part where
they hold meetings doesnt help with the statistics or events that happened. I got plenty of things
from this source that helped my case I just needed a little more information on what details on
the impact of what the NFL was doing for this situation.
This article was very rare at the time period. The domestic violence issue in the NFL had
just showed up and players left and right were getting suspended. At the height of this report the
Ray Rice story had just surfaced and was going through court. This helps me because it gives the
exact reaction to the exact time the organizations had started to deal with the beginning phase of
the NFLs disciplinary actions for other things. Once domestic violence was introduced it helped
with ideas.

This magazine article by Caroline Bermudez discusses how New York goes up against
domestic violence and child abuse. The increase of domestic violence was huge in New York
was huge at this time and was about to be the highest ever seen in New York. A lot of the
domestic issues were to younger people in relationships. The article describes that the charity
placed for children served at least forty-five thousand people to help rehab domestic violence
victims.
This article tells a yet another story of how an organization or a city helps fight domestic
violence. This is more in detail of what has taken place to help the victims like using the Family
Justice Center to rebuild kids in their state. It is however less straight forward on the point. This
article names a lot of accolades but can be scatterbrain to the average reader.
This article is useful because of the details alone. The fact that there are so many things
being done for domestic violence cases fits into my last section as I summarize everything and
explain what helped and what impacted people in a positive way. It can help the resume of the
accolades that have been done to fight against domestic violence.

Now this journal talks about studies about who and how often women get attacked
according to statistics. This study also shows what different ways women are abused.
Percentages are shown often throughout this journal/article. It is a reoccurring theme throughout
these documented facts.

It is just what I was looking for as far as a statistic standpoint. It is something that can
play a key factor in my paper. It took a minute to find a source that drops pure factual statistics.
The only thing it doesnt help me with is that there isnt any backbone to the stories to make it
groundbreaking, but the examples can be of good use
This part of my paper will give me facts and keys to what leads to domestic violence
opportunities. This is like a detector in a sense which gives a heads up on what types of people
have a violent urge. Most of them have psychiatric issues that lead to domestic violence cases.
Facts like that can keep my paper flowing.

This section of the book talks about how children are traumatized as a result of domestic
violence. It gives an insight on how the system is making moves to help better the victims or
witnesses who have experienced violence at this level. This is to keep children from being
traumatized over the events that take place.
This helps me from an aspect of what crowd or certain people go through the struggle of
domestic violence. I am looking for another source to help this one as I search for a chart to back
up my grouping of people who mostly experience this. It hurts because I cant find any more
information regarding to the facts of what signs can tell who will commit that type of crime.
Once again, I can put it with all of my potential chart facts. This source isnt as deep as
people would imagine, but the facts help me out in this situation. This tells me who and what
group of people to focus on when it comes down to victims and circumstances people are faced
with.

Now here is an article I was looking for. This is a domestic violence court case involving
a mother and her three children against the husband/father. Because of death threats given by the
husband, authorities refuse to get involved and help this lady. The hardest part of the situation is
that the lady is from Guatemala where this case was often overlooked. The woman was trying to
go to a social group asylum to see what could be done but there was little to no help because
once again, Guatemala was known for violence within the family.
This is the best source I could find. The level of controversy and examples are perfect.
No it doesnt give a chart or statistic, but it informs that the country the women is from allows a
lot of things to happen which introduced the opportunity for the male to commit the crime which
shows where the urge comes from.
I may use this source more than once in this paper to prove multiple points. It is overall a
great source. I can look at this case and tell what went wrong and why the courts didnt
necessarily side with the women in this situation. Reason is that the country that the women is
from cant just say that the crime is punishable because the country allows a certain level of
domination.
