This determination is made under section 169(7) of the Education and Care Services
National Law which gives ACECQA the power to determine that qualifications are equivalent
to the qualifications required by the National Regulations.

This qualification assessment certificate is valid under the
Education and Care Services National Law.The Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) is
responsible for guiding the implementation of the National Quality Framework
for Early Childhood Education and Care at the national level and for ensuring
consistency in its delivery, As part of this responsibility, ACECQA assesses
qualifications for equivalence.
Section 169(7) of the Education and Care Services National Law gives ACECOA
responsibility for determining whether qualifications are equivalent to the
approved early childhood educator qualifications under the National Quality
Framework.
The National Authority may, on application, determine qualifications,
including foreign qualifications, to be equivalent to the qualifications
required by the national regulations.
This certificate is evidence of an assessment of qualifications for National Quality
Framework purposes. It is not for the purpose of, or related to, any migration or
visa application process or teacher registration in Australia.
