RE: PUBLIC COMMENTS IN RESPECT OF YOUR NEW NETMAN PRODUCTS (NETMAN TURBOBOOST)
‘TARIFFS AS PUBLISHED BY NAMIBIA PROTECTION GROUP
‘The above mentioned comments received from the Namibia Consumer Protection Group received from yourselves on
5 February 2016 na letter dated 3 February 2016 bears reference. We reply thereto as flows:
4. Al Neiman Data Postpaid packeges as proposed are unlimited in data usage in that once the iree data is
reeched during the eye the speeds are reduced to a maximum of §12 Kbps on 4G or 384 Kbps on 36.

2. The Netman Turboboostis an add-on product hat increases speed of data when the tiresnold speed
during a specific cycle.
3. “The reverse of the argument of the NCPG that “the proposed tani is disriminetory in nature and unfaity

Eharged to high end market uoer i that a customer who has purchased a higher Netman package is vnaty
{Teatec when they have not uly utized the speeds during a certain period 2s the cost per GB would then bo
higher than the lower packages.
44. Itis @ common sales philosophy that bukvolume purchasers get discounts e.g, when one purchasers 10kg of
sugar 28 opposed 10 7 kg, the pce per kg forthe 10kg wil be cheaper. These ae refered fo as volume
incentives.
5, MTC’s éimis to encourage usage as much as possibe to recoup ts investments hence the volume incentives.
