In the box write your first and last name. Make it BIG so it fills the
space.

Use the blank book to recreate a cover for the book. Dont forget
the title, cover picture, and author. Make sure it is colorful.

Author Spotlight. In the small box draw a picture of the author if


you know what the author looks like. Next, write three interesting
facts about him/her and include 3 other books by the author.

Create a summary of the book. Use the Somebody, Wanted, But,


So, Then structure. Use correct grammar and spelling. Choose
your words carefully since the space is limited

Think of the main character. Describe the characters inner


thinking, behaviors, and motivation.

Create a T-Chart comparing two major characters.

Inferences: Create at least 3 inferences you were able to make.


Start your sentences with your evidence something like this, I
read that______and therefore I can infer

Please list TWO connections in each category. You should have


two text-to-text, two text-to-self, and two text-to-world connections.

Consider 5 other people you know would love to read this book.
List each persons name and why they would love it or why they
should read it. If you are artistic and can fit it in, add a small picture
of them.

Visualization: Think of your favorite scene of the book. Create a


picture with a caption to describe it.

Book Reviewer: You need to rank the book: 1 star (meaning it was
not very good) through a 5 star (it was very informative and I loved
it) system. Whatever your choice, be sure to explain why and
provide evidence to support your claim.

Contradictions: Explain two contradictions you came across in


your story. Describe who it is from and why it is a contradiction.

Words of wisdom: Explain two specific words of wisdom from your


story and who said them.

Climax: Describe the moment when the main character had to


make an important decision that would affect the outcome of the
story.

Figurative Language: Document and explain two of your favorite


types of figurative language used in this book.

Conflict and Resolution: Describe one of the conflicts and


resolutions in your story. Choose writing or drawing!

Setting: Draw a picture and explain the setting of the story


including the time of the story.

You decide, what else could you include?

Once you have chosen 12 circles, do all the writing and coloring first, and cut them out
last. Make sure you only write in the dotted pentagon area. The other part of the circle
should be colored for to make it look terrific after it is assembled.
