Expressions of Interest for Casual Tutors in


Actuarial Courses for 2016

The School of Risk and Actuarial Studies is seeking expressions of interest for Casual
Tutor positions in 2016. Applicants should be either students who will be completing their
final year of study in 2016 in a 4 year undergraduate program of study, or who will be
applying to enrol in an honours year in 2016, or who are applying for the Master of
Actuarial Studies, or are current postgraduate research students in actuarial studies.

Applicants must have an overall minimum average mark above 80% in the actuarial
courses and have gained all professional exemptions for actuarial courses completed.
Preference will normally be given to students completing a research program in Actuarial
Honours, a Master or Doctor of Philosophy Research degree in Actuarial Studies, a 4th
year of a combined degree including actuarial studies or Honours in a related discipline
such as economics, mathematics or statistics in 2016.

Successful applicants will be advised as soon as possible and may be required to


attend an interview before confirmation of an offer of a position. If successful, you will
also be required to attend the UNSW Business School Tutor training at the start of the
Session.
