Abstract
Time is one of our property which is paradoxical, in which we live in impermanence and
eternity. That what we do in impermanence will have an impact on eternity, so we need to
use this time responsibly. We must associate the time with wisdom (wise). A wise person is
one who can relate to the conservation of impermanence, so he knows how to use this time as
well.
Introduction
The Toyota Production System (TPS) is still one of the most efficient ways to produce and
design cars. TPS is designed so that it will mobilize all human and capital resources so that
they can squeeze out the most efficient, productive, and quality of vehicles being assembled.
TPS is also based on maximizing the flow, eliminating waste and respecting people. Many
automobile manufactures including Ford, Chrysler and GM have adopted parts of the TPS but
have not been able to reap the true benefits of the entire system. A key aspect of the TPS is
consistent and smooth production. Toyota also sees that in the assembly plant any form of
overproduction at any time is considered bad. By eliminating production “up” and “downs”,
Toyota has been able to make one of the best assembly systems in the industry.
Conclusion
Toyota production system has been created from actual practices in the factories of Toyota, it
has a strong feature of emphasising practical effects, and actual practice and implication over
theoretical analysis. This system can play a great role in the task of improving the
constituents of the companies world-wide especially those of the automobile industry.
