This glossary is to help you better understand your movement and your tendencies as a Type 2.
It can also be used to help you further understand the movement you want to achieve in your
clothing, accessories and hair when dressing your truth. The definitions are open for
interpretation as this is just a fun resource.
Dressing Your Truth 5 Elements
Design Line- The shape and cut of the garment.
Pattern- The movement, shapes, and colors printed or woven into the garment, creating
levels of movement and levels of contrast.
Texture- The feel or look of the feel of the garment. Adding the appearance of movement or
creating movement.
Fabrication- The weight of the garment or how the garment lays.
Chroma- A quality or color; either a tint, tone, shade or hue.
Type 2 Key Words
Blended- To combine or associate so that the separate constituents or the line of
demarcation cannot be distinguished.
Charcoal gray- Type 2's version of black, a very dark gray or a washed-out or faded black
Detailed- Marked by abundant detail or by thoroughness in treating small items or parts
Elegant- Tastefully fine or luxurious in dress, style, design, etc.: elegant furnishings
Flowing- Moving in or as in a stream: flowing water
- Proceeding smoothly or easily
- Long, smooth, graceful, and without sudden interruption or change of direction
Fluid- having particles that easily move and change their relative position without a separation
of the mass and that easily yield to pressure

- Subject to change or movement
- Characterized by or employing a smooth easy style
Muted- Toned down
- Of low intensity and reduced volume; softened
