Students will rotate between the following activities
QR code with Ipad
- QR codes with all students names displayed around the room.
- Using Ipads students are to find the QR code which displays their
name.
- Extension; students to find name of a friend, a person with blonde hair
etc.
Play dough letters with Ipad photos
- Students to make the first letter of their name out of play dough. Then
take a photo of the letter.
- Continue making the rest of the letters in their name. Then take a
photo of the full name.
- Extension; Create the first letter of a friends, sisters or brothers
name.Pic collage Take a photo of each letter and then put it back
together.
Metal Detector name hunt
- Names of students will be hidden in the sandpit with a paper clip
attached.
- Using metal detectors students are to find their name
- Extension; Write their name in the sand.
Use alarm sound for transitioning
Groups sorted before class
