SCHOOL INFORMATION
Faith Christian Academy is a Classical, Christian, college preparatory academy,
established in 2004, with over 300 students K 12. We are a member of the
Association of Classical Christian Schools (ACCS). Our average student to teacher
ratio is 1:15. Faith Christian Academy practices an authentic, university-style
schedule, meeting Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Early-on, students develop the
habit of organizing their discretionary hours on Tuesday/Thursday for the completion
of class assignments. This university-style schedule pairs the best attributes of
home education with the best attributes of the traditional classroom, building a
distinctive partnership between parents and teachers, which cultivates mature,
college-bound students. Faith Christian Academy is concerned with Truth, Beauty,
and Goodness and asks the question, Who will you be rather than, What will you
be?
MISSION STATEMENT
To glorify God by serving parents in providing their children with a distinctly Christcentered academically excellent education. By utilizing a classical method of
instruction, along with a university-style schedule that emphasizes parental
responsibility, students will be equipped with the academic tools for life-long learning
and will be taught to think critically, reason clearly, and communicate effectively from
a biblical worldview.

CURRICULUM
Faith Christian Academy generally relies on primary sources (the Great Books) rather
than on a publishers bias (textbooks). Books are chosen based on their influence over
western civilization and their ability to delve into the Great Conversation which
includes questions such as: What is truth? Is God real? What is goodness? What is
honor? The integration of subjects is stressed at the high school level. Our core
curriculum courses are considered equivalent in rigor to honors courses.
METHOD
A Classical education is guided by the seven liberal arts which are divided into two
broad areas of disciplines the Language Arts (Trivium) and the Mathematical Arts
(Quadrivium). The Trivium involves the mastery of language in the following three
forms:
written/Grammar
thinking/Logic
spoken/Rhetoric

considered accelerated. Honors awards are calculated on actual percentage grades and
are weighted, as they include both standard core curriculum and K-12 (general)
