Process:
I first setup an offset brochure layout in Adobe InDesign. Once I did this I then
moved to Adobe Illustrator where I created and brand new original logo. I created
to circles on-top of one another before using the pen tool to create the curved
icing effect. This took me the longest to do, but once I was able to get the hang
of it, the logo turned out well. I then placed this logo in a larger size on the front
of my brochure and a smaller sized one on the back. I then transitioned over into
Adobe Photoshop where I took 3 images and cropped out portions of the photo
that I wanted to use. All of my images were cropped in Photoshop except for the
three on the far right of the brochure. Once I had the images cropped and ready
to use I placed them in my InDesign project where I wanted them. Once placed, I
wrapped my text around two of my images, using the alpha-channel on the left
inside part of my brochure.

Adobe Illustrator
Objectives:
Create a logo for a fictional company in a color format, black & white format, and
a white on color format.
Process:
For this project I used the program Adobe Illustrator. After sketching a few
different drafts, I made 3 different logos. I asked a variety of different people
which one they liked the most and ultimately chose one to refine and edit for
this project. I refined and changed my color scheme as well as added more color
padding around my text. I also created a gray-scale logo and a white on color one
as well.

Process:
I first designed a brand new logo in Adobe Illustrator. After which I opened
AdobeInDesign where I placed my logo into a business card. I used the rectangle
tool and created two 3.5 x 2 rectangles. On the front of the card, I left it white
and simply just placed the logo in the center of the card. On the back I used the
same blue as the background and made the text the same shade of pink as the
logo. I continued with the circle theme and added white circles to separate the
business owners name from all of her contact information.

Objectives:
Create a fun and unique letterhead for the same company as the buisness card.
Process:
I first designed a brand new logo in Adobe Illustrator. After which I opened
AdobeInDesign where I placed my logo and went on to create a matching
letterhead. My first page was the letterhead where I placed the logo in the top left
corner. I then incorporated the circle theme into the letterhead by adding a line of
circles with the same color scheme. In the top right section of the page, I had all
of the contact info for the business.

Objectives:
Process:
Before this project I had never worked with or created an HTML/CSS code.
I used the program Notepad++ as well as a free HTML and CSS validator
online. After creating all of my word content and validated my code, I linked
a
pre-designed CSS attachment. I then opened my logo in Photoshop to get the
exact color codes that matched my logo where I put them in to the CSS software
to create the background colors as well as the text colors.

Process:
I started by coming up with 4 sketches of this design and chose the one I liked
the most. I then used Adobe InDesign for this design. I tired to focus on alignment
as well as repetition on this project. You can see this with how my text align with
each other as well as my use of think black lines throughout the project.

Microsoft Word
Objectives:
I wanted to catch the audiences attention which is why I chose an image with
bright colors. I put enough info on the flier to get them informed enough, but not
overwhelm them with information.
Process:
For this Flier I used the program Microsoft Word. I was able to gain skills with
Words design features as well as learn how to properly scan images for a high
quality resolution.

Objectives:
I wanted to make a design that would capture the viewers attention and go along
with the current month I was in at the time of the project.
Process:
I first started my process by choosing a good photo amongst quite a few that
I had taken. I used a Canon T83 to shoot all of my photos. Photoshop was then
used to edit the photo where I adjusted the levels, vibrance, and saturation of the
photo. Once I did all of this, I decided on a color scheme and I originally chose
monochromatic with the color brick however I late changed that to analagous as
the project continued forward. I then put my photo in an 8.5 x 11 layout adding
colors from my color scheme and some text. I pulled my colors directly from a
color wheel from my class book using the eye drop tool and proceeded to use
circles as a design element to incorporate and label these colors into my design.
