Practice of the new vocabulary during an action story
Before the activity: the students were reading the text about the ants, before the reading they were asked
to predict what the text could be about and after the reading they were discussing if their predictions
were good or not and what other informations they could find in the text, all the new vocabulary and
structures were explained
After the activity: the students will be talking about other animals that have some characteristic features
and they will search for new informations about them and then they will be creating an action story
about them
Strong, small, muscle, lift,
Presenting information using body language, connecting the movement with a specific action, guessing the
name of the action that is performed
flashcards with pictures, a story, three circles (red, yellow and green).
The front of the class should be empty, all the desks should be put aside and the students should stand.

8 students / level: A1+


Ernesto- he is a fast finisher and a bit hyperactive.
Mariana- she is a fast finisher and an attention hogger.
Marek- he is a bit slow on the uptake.
Bartek- he is a fast finisher, but he makes mistakes.
Monika- she is speaking in L1 when she should be speaking English.
Ania- she is a fast finisher, but she makes plenty of mistakes.
