Whats the biggest penguin? Its an Emperor
Penguin. When do Emperor Penguins raise
their kids? In the middle of winter.
The Emperor Penguins are one of the only
penguins that live in Antarctica. One of the
other habitats is Africa. Its almost impossible
to have anything live there. The Emperor
Penguins are the biggest penguins. Even its
summer, the temperature is just 0 C.
Antarctica is the coldest and windiest place on
Earth.
In Antarctica the ice is melting. The Emperor
Penguins have to squish together so they dont
get eaten.

The penguins inside downy feathers can be

insulated. They have more feathers than any
other bird on Earth. Penguins have blubber to
keep them warm.
The female lays one egg and the male hatches
it. The egg is weighing 15 pounds. Penguins
eat fish, krill, and squid.
Penguins are cute and fluffy. They are in
danger!!!! I want a pet penguin!

Did you know that penguins cant fly? Even
though they are a bird! If you thought that all
penguins live in Antarctica, you are wrong!
Little Penguins are the smallest species of
penguin in Australia and New Zealand. You
might not be able to look at one for a while
because they are very small. They are not
actually called Little Penguins, they are
actually called Little Blue Penguins.
Some of their predators are cats, dogs, rats,
foxes, large reptiles, and ferrets. There are
only 23 in the world but the population is
going up. This is weird but the Little Blue
Penguins arent that little. They are blue and
not black like other penguins.

Little Blue Penguins are shy, adventurous, and

playful. Their diet includes fish, krill, and
sometimes squid. One good thing about
penguins is that theyre cute. The bad thing is
that they are losing their habitat and penguins
cant fly somewhere else.

Did you know that Emperor Penguins are the
biggest penguins in the world? Yep! Its really
true! Emperor Penguins have been around for
thousands of years. The chick takes two
months to hatch.
Antarctica is extremely cold and windy. It is
mainly snow and ice. Emperor Penguins live in
Antarctica. It is surrounded by the sea.
Antarctica is the coldest place on Earth. The
Emperor Penguins ice is melting. I special light
goes through the sky when it is dark.
The Emperor Penguins mother is about 120 cm
tall. The chick is about 50 cm tall. The
Emperor Penguin likes to waddle. The Emperor
Penguin is very fuzzy! Their wings turned into
fins in the water. Penguins dont fly. Penguins

need to take care of their feathers. They use

the sun to dry their feathers. The feathers on
them are waterproof. The inside feathers are
thin. Emperor Penguins are the largest
penguins in the world. They have more
feathers than any other bird.
Emperor Penguins usually eat krill. They walk
with chicks on their feet. The penguins huddle
when it is cold to keep warm. Emperor
Penguins also eat fish and squid. Sea animals
hunt penguins. Penguins have fat and thick
feathers to keep them warm.
Penguins are the cutest animals in Antarctica.
By the way, dont wreck the penguin habitat!

Did you know that penguins do not fly? Did you
know penguins love fish, krill, and shrimp? Did
you know that not all penguins fly? For

Australia.
Antarctica is extremely cold and windy.
Antarctica is almost covered in snow and ice.
The Emperor Penguin lives in Antarctica.
Antarctica is completely surrounded by the
sea. Antarctica is the coldest place on Earth.
Penguins cannot fly. Penguins spend most of
their time in the water. When penguins get
tired of walking in the deep, thick snow they
slide. When scientists took infrared thermal
images of Emperor Penguins they found that
the surface of their feathers is actually colder

than the frigid air around them. Penguins use

solar heat to dry off.
Penguins eat fish, krill, and squid. Baby
penguins waddle. It is interesting how the
father penguin has to take care of the penguin
chick for two months.
Penguins are very cute, fluffy, and soft! Did
you know that penguins use solar heat to dry
off? Did you know that not all penguins live in

Did you know that penguins eat fish? It is so
cool! Did you know penguins dont just live in
Antarctica? They also live in Africa.
Penguins live in a very cold land called
Antarctica. Most penguins called Emperor
Penguins live in Antarctica. They breed eggs
but only females breed eggs. Some penguins
slide over land.
Its good for the penguins in summer but its
very cold in the winter. Some penguins find it
too cold so they go away to another island.
Some penguins live in Africa.
Emperor Penguins are the largest penguins.
Gentoo penguins build a nest. Their flippers
must be big. The penguins feathers dont

cover their eyes or beak or feet. Penguins

cant fly. Penguins need to take care of their
feathers. They use the sun to dry their

waterproof and the inside feathers are downy.
Penguins huddle together to keep warm.
Penguins walk with their chicks on their feet.
They use claws and beaks to climb ice cliffs.

keep their feathers clean. They use the sun to
keep their feathers dry. The Emperor Penguins
have the most feathers of all time. Penguins
have blubber. They can climb small icy
mountains.

Male penguins lose body weight when they

take care of the chicks. Penguins have
different calls. They eat little tiny sharks,
squid, and fish. The Emperor Penguin protects
their little one when they see a predator.
I like penguins because they are cute. They
are the cutest thing on Earth. The Emperor
Penguin is losing its ice so we need to take
care of our planet.

Penguins live in Antarctica. They huddle
together to keep warm. They can swim. A
group of penguins is called a colony. A colony
can have up to 40,000 penguins. In Antarctica
there are no people, trees, or grass. Just ice.
The feathers keep the penguins warm. They
have short legs and the tail is short. Penguins
flap their wings fast but the penguins cant fly.
Penguins can slip on the ice. The father
penguin is taller than the chick. The adult
penguin is 120 cm tall. The chicks cant swim.

Antarctica is very windy. It is very snowy and

Penguins only like ice cold water. Antarctica is

The Emperor Penguin is the largest penguin

have found out that some chicks can be left
behind.

Did you know that while the father Emperor
Penguin takes care of the egg the mother
marches to get food? Antarctica is where
Emperor Penguins live. It is a super cold place.
The female Emperor Penguins lay the egg and
the male looks after the egg. Penguins walk a
very long way, and the father penguins have to
walk with the eggs on their feet.
Penguins huddle to stay warm. Penguins
feathers keep them warm. The chicks cant
stay warm by themselves so the fathers keep
them warm. Chicks can die if they get too
cold. Penguins can not stay still in the cold for
a long time.
Did you know that penguins can swim but they
cannot fly? For a long time the father has no

food while it waits for the mother penguin to

come back. After four years the chicks will live
at sea. But when the warm days begin to cool
off at night and the penguins are older it is
their time to take care of themselves.

belly and they hold their feet up off the ice.
Thats how they keep their babies in the egg
warm. If the babies got cold they would die!
The baby penguins are fuzzy. Adult penguins
have smooth soft feathers. Penguins eat
shrimp and fish. In the winter the penguins get
new feathers. Big penguins are as tall as 120
