OBJECTIVE
My objective is to apply my expertise in data-driven instruction and Response to
Intervention as a school leader. My passion is student progress.
Created and conducted trainings for primary teachers on the transition from the
TPRI to Istation
Designed and conducted professional development for high school
administrators on the purpose and structure of the Secondary Reading Initiative
and on content area literacy
Led the districts implementation of Achieve 3000, a digital learning resource, in
34 high schools
District liaison for the LANGUAGE! program, organizing needs analysis and
weekly Project Manager visits, material inventory and ordering, scheduling and
staffing program trainings, collaborating with Project Managers to ensure
program fidelity, basic technical support
Created and distributed teacher surveys and analyzed survey results to make
programming decisions
Provide data and reports on usage and student growth for district leaders for
Achieve 3000, LANGUAGE!, and Istation
Conducted a focus group for the new Literacy Plan, helping to create a plan
which reflects community input

Led campus level workshops on how to use data in planning instruction, how to

Academys reading scores reach 90% in 2009 and 2010

Awarded a grant bestowing $3000 of books for Pilgrim Academys students
Pilgrim Academys official writer and Committee Chair for the Texas Educator
Excellence Grant which awarded $240,000 in teacher incentive pay from 20062008.
Implemented and administered the school-wide Accelerated Reader program.
