Measuring equipment
Caution
The accuracy of the measuring equipment used during the calibration procedure
is decisive for the accuracy of the OCM measurement.
The measuring equipment used for the calibration of the conductivity must have
an accuracy of 0.05 mS/cm within a temperature range of 35 C 39 C.
We recommend to use the UMED universal measuring device which is available
from Fresenius (part no. M32 403 1).

Note
In 4008 H/S machines it is generally possible to define a correction factor for
all clearance measurements. This feature has been provided to be able to
adapt a machine at its place of installation to latest knowledge gained from
scientific discussion that has not been completed yet. Based on present knowledge the correction factor for Fresenius Polysulfone membranes must be adjusted to 1 (factory setting). The accuracies specified are only applicable for
Fresenius Polysulfone membranes in combination with a correction factor that
was set to 1.
