Instant Activity:
Dribble Tag
4 students will designated as taggers and
will wear pennies. Each student has a
ball and will be dribbling. On my signal
the taggers will attempt to tag as many
students as possible without losing
control of their basketball. If the tagger
tags without control of the basketball, the
tag does not count. If a dribbler is tagged
the student must dribble around the
outside of the court one time.

For students who need the activity to be

more challenging they can alternate from
jogging to running while dribbling and
maintain proper cots. For students who
need the activity to be made a little easier
I could have them use a smaller ball to
better fit their hands or allow them to
dribble stationary until comfortable and
then go onto walking and dribbling.

Common Errors Task 2:

1. Not dribbling with eyes up
2. Not using proper cots to
dribble.
