Aztramade Consulting Ltd (Aztramade) is a consulting firm Incorporated in January 2004 to provide
strategic governance, leadership, management and sustainable development technical solutions to a
variety of business, development and government organizations.
Our clients include; small and micro-enterprises (SMEs), private companies, socio-economic
empowerment membership associations, co-operatives, FBOs, government and public organizations and
local, national and international NGOs in the Eastern Africa region.
Aztramade boasts nine (9) well balanced and aced consulting teams comprising of leading professional
consultants each with an average working experience of over 10 years. Together, our in-house and oncall associate consultants have a cumulative professional experience of over 300 years. Our operations
support team (OST) ensures effective and efficient support for the consulting work teams.

Our technical services combine consulting in; policy, planning and systems strengthening on one hand,
and operation strategy formulation and positive culture change on the other. Both categories of
consulting services are aimed at creating optimum business and organization performance.
Governance Restructuring and Strengthening: Aztramade provides technical training and advisory
services to organizations boards of directors to review, develop and restructure their board and
organization policies, board capacity building and performance plans and organization oversight
strategies.
Planning & Strategy Development: Aztramade specializes and is well known for capacity building our
clients on strategic business plan development as well as facilitating the review of existing or fresh
development of actual strategic business and organization plans from scratch.

Management Systems Restructuring: Aztramade provides consulting services to undertake operations


research and to restructure their business operations systems and processes (Human resources, Financial
Management, Production, Marketing, Sales & Distribution, Information communication technology), to
align with business plans and strategy so as to ensure optimum performance and return on shareholders
investments.
Leadership Capacity & Culture Change: Aztramade support organization culture and effective practices
change working closely with individual team leaders and staff teams. We provide capacity building in
leadership, management as well as executive and leadership coaching aimed at re-orienting a competitive
edge and increasing shareholders value.
Market Analysis and Marketing Strategy: Aztramade provides rapid market analysis for corporates that
require to determine current general and niche market needs, wants, competitive edge of competitors
or test demand for proposed new or old product relaunch. We often follow up market analysis work with
development of fully fledged marketing strategy for a client.
Project Finance: Aztramade provides finance sourcing services to our clients for the delivery of large
and complex business and social enterprise projects with a clear profitability and sustainability path for
our business clients. Such projects have included green energy (Wind and Solar) and Education ICT
projects.
Baseline Assessments: Aztramade provides cutting edge baseline assessment services for development
organizations or consortiums that require to determine current targeted community and specific clients
needs prior to new project design and development, or rollout after a pilot phase or as a follow up design
after a previous phase.
Project Proposal Development & Resource Mobilization: We provide technical services for the
development, review of top quality project/program proposals and presentation to potential funders on
behalf of our client organizations. This process is preceded by baseline survey on the area of need to be
addressed by the project/program and followed by full orientation of new project staff on the
project/program design.
Monitoring and Evaluation: Aztramade provides quality project/program mid-term and end-term
evaluations to development organizations that want to determine the mid-term performance, challenges
and learnings of on-going projects/programs or the performance, challenges, learnings and impact of
completed projects/programs.

Our principal and associate consultants have served over 50 SMEs, over 50 civil society organizations,
over 20 FBOs and 7 government institutions in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Southern Sudan and South

Aztramade is a member of the East African Sustainable Development Network (EASEN) and the Health
Systems Management Association (HeSMA) and the Kenya Association of Microfinance Professionals
(KAMP).

2.2. Work Teams


Aztramade has 9 consulting work teams(CTs), including 8 consulting and 1 operations support team. All
work teams are designed to ensure effective and efficient delivery of the above strategy. The
Operations Support Team (ST) is led by the chief executive consultant and has 9 consulting operations
managers, one for each core consulting area and an optimum number of support staff to ensure the
consulting work teams are effectively and efficiently supported to deliver their assignments on budget
and on time.

2.3. Competitiveness
Each CT assigned to deliver a clients assignment is structured to be most effective and efficient. It
includes: A team leader with wide and deep business or development organization management
experience and adequate experience on the assignment subject matter and an adequate number of
associate consultants with more specific expertise on the main components of the assignment to ensure
delivery of total quality to the client on the consulting assignment.
On average, CT leaders possess between 12 and 20 years of management/governance experience with
at least 8 of these in technical experience in the assignment subject area. The supporting associate
consultants possess between 7 and 15 years of professional technical work experience relating to the
main components/subject areas of the consulting assignment. Team leaders are usually Masters and
PhD holders while the associates hold Masters or first degree with additional professional certification
and stellar professional wide experience.
